According to Wiley, a published manuscript co-authored by Stephen entitled "A 30‐Year Follow‐Up of a Patient with Mandibular Complete‐Arch Fixed Implant‐Supported Prosthesis on 4 Implants: A Clinical Report" was among the top 10% most downloaded papers between January 2018 and December 2019.  They awarded this certificate in recognition of his work.  Read the entire manuscript in research section under downloads.

Stephen was the first of five speakers during a full-day program on using AvaDent digital denture technology to fabricated implant-supported hybrid prostheses.  The program look place at the Affordable Dentures and Implants practice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Conversion Denture on AAOMS DIC Program

X-Nav Technologies invited Stephen to be a part of their annual users group meeting to answer questions about the monolithic AvaDent conversion denture that can be used with their dynamic navigation process.

Stephen had the privilege to present to the Christiana Care Health System during the Howard Zucker Implantology Lectureship. He spoke about prosthetically-driven treatment for the most complex cases that include the use of zygomatic or extra-maxillary implants.  The use of a digital denture workflow in these reconstructions helps to reduce the complexity of the process.  Dr. Daniel Meara (pictured), the chair of the department of OMSHD at Christiana, extended the invitation.

During the November module of the 2019-2020 AAID MaxiCourse at Nova Southeastern University, Stephen lectured on the history of immediate loading and the conversion prosthesis technique.  He also directed a hands-on session with computer guided implant surgery and demonstrated the use of DTX Studio Implant.

Restorative Needs and Options the Periodontist Needs to Know

Stephen presented at the 105th Annual Session of the Academy of Periodontology (AAP) in Chicago, Illinois.  The lecture was titled "Restorative Needs and Options the Periodontist Needs to Know" and discussed prosthetically-driven workflows and pre-fabricated prosthetics for single-tooth applications, as well as full-arch reconstructions.  The invitation to speak was extended by Dr. Barry Wagenberg, co-chair of the Continuing Education Oversight Committee for the AAP.

Stephen was asked to speak at the AvaDent Corporate Symposium during the 49th Annual Session of the American College of Prosthodontics in Miami, Florida.  His lecture titled "Using Digital Denture Technology for Much More Than Just Dentures" discussed applications of the technology for various types of implant-supported prostheses.  Stephen was the final speaker on the program which also included Ronni Schnell, DMD and Gene Peterson, CDT.

Stephen presented to the South Florida Dental Study Club on digital dentures and prosthetically-driven workflow in Aventura, Florida.  The invitation to the full-day lecture was from Dr. Eduardo Nicolievsky (pictured).  The lecture took place at Morton's Steakhouse.

Stephen lectured at the 3rd annual Inside Dental Technology (IDT) International Digital Denture Symposium held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia.  The lecture introduced the SurgiDenture™ to the world.
